An independent middleman, not a marketplace
pokz is a private, Portugal-based middleman service for people transacting with someone they have no reason to trust yet.
Discretion by default
Rooms are invite-only, unindexed and closed to everyone except the two parties and pokz. Nothing is published, resold or shared.
Written before started
No transaction proceeds on a verbal understanding. Terms are written into the room and confirmed by both parties before anything is secured.
Responsive handling
Rooms are monitored and every new instruction raises an alert. First response is targeted within 24 hours, usually much sooner.
What pokz is not
pokz is not a bank, payment institution, licensed escrow agent, investment firm or law firm, and does not provide financial, tax or legal advice. It provides a private transaction-handling service between two identified counterparties on the terms set out in the Terms of Service. Where a transaction requires a regulated institution, pokz will decline it.
