Procedure

How a pokz transaction is handled

Every instruction follows the same six stages. Nothing is agreed by voice, and nothing is released on trust alone.

  1. Stage 1

    Instruction and room creation

The instructing party describes the transaction: what is being sold, the agreed amount, the currency, and which side they are on. A deal room is created with a unique reference (for example PKZ-4KX9TB) and two private keys — one for the creator, one for the counterparty.

  2. Stage 2

    Counterparty admission

The invite link is passed to the other party by the instructing party. On first use, the counterparty chooses a display name and is admitted. The link admits exactly one counterparty; once used, the room is closed to further participants.

  3. Stage 3

    Fixing the terms

Both parties restate the terms in the room: the item or service, the deadline for delivery, the condition or specification, and what counts as acceptance. pokz confirms the terms in the room. From this point the recorded terms govern the transaction.

  4. Stage 4

    Securing the buyer's side

The buyer transfers the agreed amount to pokz using the method confirmed inside the room. pokz marks the deal as funds secured. Nothing is released to the seller at this stage.

  5. Stage 5

    Delivery and inspection

The seller performs and posts proof of delivery in the room. The buyer has the inspection window recorded in the terms to accept or raise a defect. Silence past the inspection window is treated as acceptance.

  6. Stage 6

    Release or dispute

On acceptance, pokz releases the value to the seller, less the agreed fee, and marks the deal released. If a defect is raised in time, the dispute procedure opens: both parties submit evidence in the room and pokz issues a reasoned decision based on the recorded terms.

Timeframes

  • Room opened and pokz notified: immediately.
  • Terms confirmed by pokz: normally within 12 hours of both parties joining.
  • Release after acceptance: normally within 24 hours.
  • Dispute decision: within 5 business days of the last evidence submission.

Timeframes are service targets, not guarantees, and may be extended where verification checks apply.
