Use cases

Where a middleman actually changes the outcome

If a platform is not standing behind the transaction, someone neutral has to. These are the situations pokz is built for.

Private sales between strangers

Buying from someone found through a forum, marketplace or group chat, where neither side has protection from a platform.

Digital goods and accounts

Items whose transfer cannot be reversed and where delivery must be verified before value moves.

Commissioned work

Design, development or creative commissions delivered in stages, with the brief recorded and releases matched to milestones.

Freelance engagements

Short engagements between people who have not worked together, where scope and deadline are agreed in writing first.

Collectibles and tickets

Condition-sensitive items where an inspection window before release protects both sides.

Trades and swaps

Two-sided exchanges where both parties must perform, held until each side has confirmed receipt.

What pokz will not handle

Anything unlawful, stolen or fraudulently obtained, restricted goods, and any arrangement designed to disguise the origin of funds. The full list is in the AML & Prohibited Use policy. Instructions of this kind are refused and the room is closed.
